Heritance® wood Shutters FAQS
Before measuring, consider whether you want an inside or outside mounted window treatment. If inside, you’ll need to make sure your window is square by measuring horizontally at the top, center and bottom, vertically along both sides and center, and diagonally. Also measure the frame depth and take into account any window hardware that might obstruct the window treatment.

Heritance® Wood Shutters offer a choice of three popular louver sizes: 2 ½”, 3 ½”, and 4 ½”
The size of the louver you select significantly influences your window’s aesthetic, view-through, and light control. Larger louvers (3 ½” and 4 ½”) provide a more contemporary look, offer a clearer view to the outside, and allow more light into the room when open. Smaller 2 ½” louvers often lend a more traditional or classic appearance and offer increased privacy when closed.
